Stationery
Your monogram can be used for
stationery as well. The process is the same in terms of the illustrations.
Once you approve the design, I will supply you with camera-ready artwork,
which you can take to the stationery company of your choice. They will be
able to create a die from this original artwork. We will supply you with any
file type that your stationer/printer recommends and this will depend on the
process you are using. Flat printing requires a different file type than
engraving or embossing for instance. Each stationery company seems to
require different file types, so it is best to check with them first and
supply me with the information. You will receive the artwork via e-mail in
black and white. You will select the final colors (s) with your stationer.
The charge for one color black and white artwork is $150.00. Two color
separated and registered artwork is $250.00.
THE PRINTERY
Please visit The
Printery’s website for inspiration. They do beautiful work
and will supply samples of paper if needed. Ink colors can be matched long
distance using Benjamin Moore color samples from your local paint store.
Mary and Bill Miller provide excellent customer service. The Printery is
both the engraver and the stationery company. It’s great fun collaborating
with them over all the possibilities. I highly recommend them.
